Maryland Capitols FC play FC Indiana at PG Sports Complex, April 15

Maryland's newest women's soccer team, the Maryland Capitols FC will play its first home preseason exhibition game against FC Indiana at Prince Georges Sports Complex situated right next to FedEx Stadium on Sunday 15th April at 4 p.m.

WASHINGTON D.C., March 30, 2012 - Maryland’s newest women’s soccer team, the Maryland Capitols FC will play its first home preseason exhibition game against FC Indiana at Prince Georges Sports Complex, which is situated right next to FedEx Stadium, on Sunday 15th April at 4 p.m. 

Maryland Capitols FC  play in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). 

Gates will open at 3 p.m. and fans under-16 are admitted free. It’s also military appreciation night so anyone with military ID has free entry. 

Tickets for adults (over 16) are $5.00 entry, which includes a maximun of of four children. 

The Maryland Capitols is run and coached by David Jones, formerly of the Philadelphia Pirates from 2005 to 2006, before he joined the U.S. Army. Jones is now stationed at Bethesda Naval Hospital.  

“The first 10 teams to e-mail me back confirming their attendance will recieve a player prize pack for each player they bring to the game,” Jones said, whose e-mail is  david.jones100@us.army.mil. 

The English-born Jones played in the Manchester United youth system. He  played with Stockport County and Chester City in England and Tenerife in the Spanish B League.
