BOSTON, June 19, 2012 – I’m a TV junkie and I’m excited. Some of my celebrity pals are returning with some exciting new projects in the fall. What do all these great celebs all have in common? Each one has kindly supported The Carroll Center for the Blind.
What is all the more exciting is that you don’t have to wait until the Fall to see two great shows make their return.
The hilarious Kristen Johnston is returning this week in “The Exes” on TV Land and Chris Gorham’s Auggie Anderson is buff and ready to take on the bad guys on “Covert Affairs” when it returns in July.
In the upcoming Fall and Winter, these great shows will debut:
Alyssa Milano returns to TV with a juicy role on ABC’s “Mistresses”:
Michael Chiklis is taking over the town and not letting anyone stand in his way on “Vegas”:
Leah Remini is set to get you laughing on ABC’s “Family Tools”:
Autumn Reeser stars on the hugely anticipated “Last Resort” on ABC:
Julie Benz will be starring on the groundbreaking SyFy Network’s “Defiance”:
In addition to being some of my favorite actors, Kristen Johnston, Chris Gorham, Alyssa Milano, Michael Chiklis, Leah Remini, Autumn Reeser and Julie Benz all support The Carroll Center for the Blind.
Carroll Center is a special and worthy cause that, for the past 75 years, has helped blind and visually impaired individuals. Through mobility instruction, kitchen classes, computer courses and much more, CCB has helped thousands of people regain confidence and get their lives back.
Each one of those individuals has their own unique and inspiring story. Gunshots, car accidents, eye disease and more may have robbed them of their vision, but the Carroll Center is there to help them put the pieces back together.
