Radical Islam threatens World War III

WASHINGTON, November 30, 2013 — Across the globe, Islam, promising peace, marches forward. The only peace they offer infidels and apostates, indeed even to opposing sects of their own religion, is conversion, or the peace of the grave.

Radical Islam is the main force fomenting turbulence today. Imperial Russia and Communist China play a dangerous game, arming Islamic countries with high-tech weapons of mass destruction, while tamping down dissent from Islamists at home. Aiming to destroy American power, they risk their own.

In a world rapidly destabilizing, it could take but a spark to rekindle conflicts that have so long simmered. With America’s Progressive leadership unwilling to maintain the fragile status quo that existed from the end of World War II until the fall of the Berlin Wall, other powers have rushed in to fill the vacuum. This new world order is nothing like what was ostensibly intended by the winners.

Large parts of North Africa and the Middle East are afire, torn between forces that offer little difference save the name and brand of totalitarian control. America’s ill-fated attempts at nation-building in Muslim countries with little tradition or desire for democracy has set the stage for impending conflict on a world scale. Our all-volunteer army has been dispirited and exhausted, and is overextended.

Iran is allowed to have $8 billion in seized sanctions, in return for nothing more than the promise of future talks. With Russian, Chinese and North Korean help, this guarantees funding for production of an arsenal of nuclear weapons and the ballistic missile means to deliver them to half the globe. Iranian nuclear ambitions are about to spark an arms race with her neighbors. Saudi Arabia has reportedly purchased nuclear weapons from Pakistan, held for them there until called for.

Israel has all but been abandoned by American leaders, as an alleged impediment to regional peace. Instead of promoting their truly representative democratic traditions and rule of law as a beacon to the region, they are cast in the role of international pariah. But Israel has the proven will, and the ample means, to defend itself. If attacked, expect mass casualties on all sides, especially on the aggressor’s.

Little-known in the West is an island of democracy and efficiency known as greater Kurdistan. Gassed by Saddam for failure to comply with his commands to kowtow, their population is a large presence in the mountainous regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria and Armenia. They have shown centuries of resilience and self-reliance under Muslim rule and a willingness to fight ruthlessly and continuously for survival and national determination. What they lack in money they more than make up for in spirit.

The European Union, long since far-gone in terms of unrepresentative, intrusive rule of their own member countries, mollycoddles Muslims to an extreme extent. They have not only not been required to assimilate and assume the national characteristics of the countries they emigrated to, but instead have been actively encouraged to maintain a separateness that has resulted in the fracturing of civil society. And Europe is almost entirely dependent on middle-eastern oil and Russian natural gas for energy.

It is not farfetched to envision a scenario where an emboldened Iran, in alliance with other Islamic states, seeks rebirth of a dormant caliphate, attempts to destroy Israel and Kurdistan, and asserts dominance in European and Asian territory they consider once-conquered, and thus theirs. Resultant crackdowns in China, Russia and Russian-dominated Europe would provoke further spread of fighting.

Islam has been called a 14th century society in a 21st century world. Although nuclear attacks by Islam would result in them being bombed back into the stone age, the wider war they start would threaten all.
