WASHINGTON, November 25, 2013 — Orders have come down from on high, passed to all the differently-named progressive groups that march in lockstep. They fear an uprising of patriots. They are desperate to prevent awakening and conversion of the uncommitted to Constitutionalism. They won’t fight fair.
If you read opinion posts, you may have noticed that several days ago, very-well written and logical commenters cropped up on almost every popular thread, making points counter to conservative causes. Their arguments, however well-written they may be, are specious chimeras, designed to confuse.
Don’t be fooled.
These are not “just folks.” They are the best trained arguers and obfuscators George Soros’ money can buy. They are part of a coordinated campaign to distract and defame patriots. The battleground is on Facebook, Twitter, Disqus and other social media. Their goal is to make sure you do not gain new converts to the cause. Attacking the messenger is an effective tool. Truth does not serve their narrative.
These quizzical quislings at first question, but ignore the gist of responses, answering in non-sequitor. They slyly imply that any who oppose Obama and other Prog bosses or policies are not just wrong, but stupidly so. When that fails to gain traction, but angers their opponents, they accelerate into baseless direct accusations and Alinsky-style character attacks.
“You are wrong, because we have good intentions. It’s too complicated for you to understand.”
They address your points, but refute with incorrect facts that do not address the topic.
“You are a corporate tool who obviously parrots political statements. You sound like you may be racist.”
When you cite supporting fact, they ignore it, instead insinuating your motivation is evil.
“You are a hater that no one should ever listen to, ever. Something bad could happen to you, soon.”
They totally discredit you, personally, making your message moot. They try to scare you into silence.
It’s tempting to take the bait, but don’t bite.
They aren’t really arguing with you, they are trying to make those who read your words uncertain. They aren’t attacking you just because they hate you, they want to goad you into making statements that drive away the meek. They win when you curse them, and doubly so when you threaten them back.
Only engage them if you can do it without becoming enraged. Don’t let them get your goat. When they pull a fast one, parse the Prog tricks for your readers. Expose your enemy for what he is. Pair up with a friend who gets what’s going on, and double-team them. Don’t let their foul words draw a foul. Let them foul themselves. And if you have yet to read Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, don’t say a word.
If you lose the war of words, they win the war on liberty. If you win, they generally delete their own posts, and thus collapse the thread with your responses. Never reply under their comment, always make a new comment in response. That way the worst they can do is waste your time.
But is it a waste? Honing your rhetorical battle skills, weaning the wavering from “progress”, and winning even one to our side is no loss. And, take it from me, the Prog rank-and-file knows they are losing the People. When they try to cheat, but you beat them in a fair fight, it hurts them. Their energy, motivation and discipline are diminished. So, people, prepare yourself, and engage the enemy.
A million skirmishes won means more electoral success. 2014 is coming!
