WASHINGTON, October 21, 2013 – Two important pieces of news out of TheVoice: first, Cee Lo Green will not lose his chair, even after being cleared of sexual assault charges and possibly facing federal drug charges for furnishing ecstasy and, much more importantly, auditions for the next season of TheVoice have been announced.
Open call auditions have been announced for:
Los Angeles, CA - December 14-15, 2013
Philadelphia, PA - January 11-12, 2014
Chicago, IL - January 18-19, 2014
Nashville, TN - February 1-2, 2014
Hopefuls need to either appear at one of the open calls or send in a video featuring their performance of two songs. Check out the web site for more information.
Previously announced is that Shakira and Usher will be taking over for Xtina and Cee Lo for Season 6, however, executive producer for The Voice, Mark Burnett says the change in judges was planned long before Cee Lo’s legal challenges.
Tonight we see the Judges teams further reduce as the final nights of The Battles begin. Mentors are working with the judges and their teams – Blake Shelton and Cher, Aguilera and Ed Sheeran, Ryan Tedder is assisting Adam Levine and R&B Singer Miguel is aiding Cee Lo Green – and I do find it fascinating to see the all too short glimpses of how they work with the aspiring stars, zeroing in with lazer like focus on their fears, and strengths.
A sneak peak to tonight’s battle has James Wolpert and Will Champlin battle for a trip to the knockouts, singing Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive.”
On Dancing With The Stars, all the couples will perform a ballroom or Latin style they have not danced yet. Read Gayle Falkenthals preview of tonights new group dance challenge in Week 6 Monday.
Join our dual chat as Gayle keeps an eye on, keeping us updated on Dancing with the Stars and Jacquie monitors The Voice. Of course, we will be bouncing back and forth.
Hope you can join us and that we will see you tonight at 8:00 p
