WASHINGTON, October 13, 2013 – It started in Thailand, apparently sometime around late July or early August 2013. A disarmingly clever Thai TV ad promoting the Wacoal Mood Push-Up bra began to appear locally, materializing almost immediately as a YouTube video as well. You can guess the rest.
Deceptively and playfully sexy, this apparently innocent video begins to veer away from a likely PG rating, which is when things get really interesting. Like they say, “Wait for it….”
Be sure to watch this one to the very end. We can pretty much guarantee it beats viewing and listening more idiotic posturing and depressing news involving our latest impending economic disaster, brought to you by your favorite Fools on the Hill. You know, the miracle workers we all voted for last year.
Washington’s wizards aside, the U.S. puts out its own fair share of funny commercials these days. (Is anyone getting sick of GEICO’s “hump day” advert yet?) But Asian and European commercials really take the cake when it comes to kicking that message up a notch into dubious territory. They never seem to lose their sense of fun, either.
So take a look already. Who knows? You could just be that lucky millionth viewer.
Note: You may need to fast forward through another commercial.
