WASHINGTON, June 30, 2013 – One of the most exciting new characters this season is Nial Brigant (Rutger Hauer). Jason (Ryan Kwanten) has met his Fairy Godfather who is there to help Sookie (Ann Paquin) fight against Warlow. And Rutger Hauer is fabulous in the role.
The governor, Creighton Burrell (Arliss Howard), while proclaiming all out war against the Vampire Nation, becomes a silent partner in the manufacturing of True Blood. And Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) does some glamoring of Burrell’s daughter Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) in retribution for her father’s nasty aggression towards the vamps.
And won’t it be fun to see what Eric has in store for her.
Speaking of Eric, he gives Sookie back the family home and she rescinds his invitation, effectively barring him from being able to enter. I don’t think that is going to work with Bill though.
One of my favorite developing story lines is Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley). We all think Pam is so tough, but Tara is the one that has inner strength after being raised by an alcoholic and abusive mother. This story line will let Pam become more “human” as she learns to trust Tara.
Getting back to Bill, and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll). They are figuring out his powers, and they are pretty awesome (not a word I get to use often). I really like his precognitive skills as knowing what is coming puts the viewer on the edge of the seat waiting for the when.
Watch the preview for episode 63, You’re No Good, and we will have to wait until tonight to see if Bill toasts in the sun…’
