Tempest is Dylan’s 35th studio album and it pays homage to the Beatles and John Lennon with song such as “Roll on John” that the artist has written quote lines from songs such as “Come Together,” A Day in the Life,” and, appropriate for our present time and place in history, “I Heard the News Today, Oh Boy.”

Mark Knopfler, most well known as the lead guitarist, songwriter and vocalist for the British Rock Band Dire Straights, will be touring with Dylan.  Knopfler has been recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, selling more than 120 million albums.

Dylan and Knopfler have previously worked together including a recent European tour.  They also worked on Slow Train Coming (1979) and Infidels (1983).
