Washington Capitals hosting Hockey 'N Heels Wednesday

WASHINGTON, November 11, 2013 — The fifth annual Hockey N’ Heels Event will be hosted by the Washington Capitals this Wednesday, November 13 at the Kettler Capitals Ice Complex.

The even will start at 6 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. Female hockey fans or simply female sports fans, are invited to visit the Kettler Capitals Iceplex located at 627 N. Glebe Road, Arlington, Va. 22203.

For the past five seasons, the Washington Capitals have provided instructional lessons and on-ice demonstrations exclusively for the Capitals female audience. The Washington Capitals players planning to attend are Karl Alzner, Steve Oleksy, Alexander Urbom, and forward Tom Wilson.

Washington Capitals Head Goalie Coach and 300 game winner, Olie Kolzig will also be in attendance.  

This event is sponsored by the Club Scarlet, a Washington Capitals Fan Club designed to provide women information about NHL hockey, networking opportunities, and broaden the interest of female Washington, DC Sports Fans.
