Dreaming of an exotic destination across the water but don’t think you can afford to go? Think again, as you check out some lodging alternatives for the Christian community.
Especially in Europe, Christian Hotels International (www.christian-hotel.com) – founded in 1895 – have members who promise a hospitality alternative you may like. This organization offers a variety of hotels, guest houses, youth and retreat centers and camp sites located in mountains, cities and seaside. Many of these lodging sites promise not only good service and manner, but also good rates. Communicate with individual properties via email.
How about lodging for free? That’s what Christian Home Swap (www.christianhomeswap.com) offers, along with other benefits. An Australian couple organized this network a couple of years ago. Hundreds of singles, couples and families from 35 countries post photos and descriptions of their homes on the network. You contact homeowners via email, build relationships, then swap homes for free! It can be a great way to take that dream vacation at much less expense!
Do you know of any other lodging alternatives that could interest the Christian traveler?
