NEW YORK, NY July 5, 2013 – Hoboken’s  BOA played home to what GuestofaGuest.com called “One of the Top 10 hottest events in the New York Metropolitan area not to be missed”, the Metropolitan Bikini Fashion Weekend 2013 (MBFW2013.com).

Sponsored by Ferrari-Maserati of Central New Jersey and BOA Hoboken, the event featured a VIP guest list. Political commentator for Communities and marketing consultant Rich Valdes & Social Magazine hosted this summer soiree, that some say is second only to the Mercedes Benz Swim Week in Miami, Fl., next month.

After marveling at the convoy of Maserati, Ferrari, Bentley, and Rolls Royce motor cars that lined the street, attendees walked the event’s paparazzi lined red carpet.

Notable guests included, five-time NBA Champion Ron Harper of the L.A. Lakers and Chicago Bulls, Style Network star Tracy DiMarco star of Jerseylicious, Hip Hop recording artist Murdakkh, MTV personality Angelina Pivarnick, VH1 diva Elizabeth Ann Vashisht, and The Honorable Senator-Elect of Portugal’s Monarchy Party, Dr. Caesar De Paço, PhD.

Attendees were treated to a complimentary tasting of France’s newest wine to hit the U.S. CHíC rosé, bottled in Bordeaux. A contingent from Spain was also on hand to introduce their imported bubbly, Latidos de Vino Cava Spanish champagne to MBFW2013 guests as well.

Creations, provided delectable desserts made especially for the occasion. Other sponsors on-hand offered their products and services to guests as well, such as the rechargeable, flavored, vegetable based, e-cig by Vapor4U.com, wellness products courtesy of Amy Priddy of Abronne, and invitations for consultation by triple board certified celebrity plastic surgeon, Dr. Ramtin Kassir, M.D.

After checking out the cars, walking the red carpet, hobnobbing with notables, and enjoying all of the sponsored goodies, MBFW2013 guests enjoyed a swimwear fashion show featuring the summer collections of various NY area and international designers with music by Miami’s own DJ Robbie Pope, DJ and Producer Charlie Curtains (KC and The Sunshine Band), and DJ Hall of Fame inductee DJ Duce Martinez.

The evening ended with the designers and models doing a final runway walk and taking a bow.  Guest of Guest had it right when they said this is “one party you can’t miss”.

Plans for MBFW2014.com are underway and information is forthcoming. For a complete listing of designers showcased on the runway visit Social Magazine.
