PISCATAWAY, Md., February 2, 2012– St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Piscataway, Prince George’s County, Maryland marks it’s 375th anniversary in 2015.
St. Mary’s is developing a publication on the history of the parish and the Catholic community in the region that has existed since 1640 and is seeking historical information to add to this significant project.
Pictures, stories, and other things relevant to the parish’s past can be contributed or loaned to the parish. Documents and photos offered to the parish will be scanned and returned to owners in a timely fashion.
Project workers are also conducting oral interviews with people who have stories they would like to share about our history or the Piscataway community.
If you have information or documents to share, please contact Bill Keimig: 301-292-0527, or email: keimig@stmaryspiscataway.org.
