FREDERICK, Md, April 20, 2012 – John Behind the Links Mixed Martial Arts expert Jason Morris as he joins MMA fans at the at Green Turtle Downtown Frederick Md while watching the UFC:145 Jones vs Evans with the troops of Evolve Academy Of Martial Arts/SOLDIERFIT starting at 9:45pm tonight. 

The Washington Times Communities will be hosting a live chat and Jason will be providing play-by-play of the whole event!

 

Feel free to chime in with your thoughts on the event as Jon Jones and Rashad Evans, two of the UFC’s brightest stars will fight  for the light heavy weight title.

This won’t be the first time these warriors have exchanged blows as they used to train together at Greg Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts in Albuquerque, NM. 

This is what makes the fight so interesting for fight fans. Their rivalry has become a long drawn out feud since it became clear that these two would eventually fight last year.

Jason Morris

Jason Morris has spent most of his life involved in the Mixed Marital Arts community in some capacity. In the early 90s,  Jason became interested in the sport after watching the Ultimate Fighting Championships. In 2003, his interests led him to begin his training in Mixed Martial Arts. Today, Jason works a full-time in the sport while fulfilling a number of different roles. He is a director and head trainer at Evolve Academy of Mixed Martial Arts where he teaches Mixed Martial Arts for sport and self-defense. He fights professionally and coaches both amateur and professional fighters. On occasion, he even works as a fight promoter for local events in the DMV.
