Heath Mayo, 21, is a junior at Brown University where he is working on a Bachelors Degree in economics and political science and a Masters Degree in history. He pitches for the Brown baseball team, writes opinion columns for the Brown Daily Herald, and sings in an a cappella group, the Brown Jabberwocks. Heath serves as a member of the Ronald Reagan Centennial National Youth Leadership Committee, where he and other young leaders across the country work to educate and inspire others with the legacy of the nation’s 40th President. He is currently in the Houston area as a field representative for the Tom Leppert for US Senate campaign. In addition, Heath is the founder and national chairman of the Responsible Youth PAC. In 2010, the PAC raised close to $4,000 and supported 10 Congressional candidates from across the country. His work in the public sector includes numerous government internships including his most recent work in the office of Senator John Cornyn (R-TX). Off Capitol Hill, Heath has served as an intern in the offices of American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS, a 527 political fundraising group
He is a native of Whitehouse, Texas.
