WASHINGTON, October 3, 2012 — Beer is a social beverage. Drinking a beer can be quite pleasurable, but enjoying it in an atmosphere with similar-minded friends and strangers alike can create fun times and great memories.
To that end, twice each month, After Hours publishes a calendar of notable beer events covering Maine through North Carolina.
Oktoberfests have certainly gripped the region as the calendar squarely on to October. Those will not be focused on here so much except to point out the more unique ones, like Das Best Oktoberfest at Timonium Fairgrounds in Maryland on Saturday, October 13.
Do you know of a special beer event that should be listed here? Be sure to drop a note to the columnist, Bryan Kolesar, and provide all of the important details.
