WASHINGTON, September 6, 2012 — DNC 2012 finally unveiled its schedule of speakers during prime time this evening, the last night of the Democratic Convention. For most of the day, the speakers and when they were speaking were kept under wraps, as though it were top-secret information.

We now know that Marc Anthony will perform the National Anthem and that James Taylor will sing, but only early in the evening so most people probably won’t see either singer. Mary J. Blige is also performing early, but there is nary a listing for Earth, Wind and Fire, which had been touted earlier. And, yes, Foo Fighters will be there, during the 7 to 8 p.m. segment.

And only two of beauties from Hollywood will take the stage during the same segment, Scarlett Johansson and Kerry Washington. No Natalie Portman. Eva Longoria has a plum spot during the 8 to 9 p.m. segment. And no, sorry, Betty White, despite the campaign on the Internet to get her included, will not be there.

So here is the TV schedule, unwrapped and unveiled with the Top Secret label pulled off. Just remember that only the Cable News networks and PBS will show the Convention from 7 until 11 p.m. ABC, CBS and NBC have decided to just broadcast the 10 to 11 p.m. segment of the convention.
